More than 20 ejected from each Morgan Wallen concert at Madison's Camp Randall Stadium

More than 20 people were ejected from each of country music star Morgan Wallen's concerts at Madison's Camp Randall Stadium, on June 28 and 29, according to University of Wisconsin-Madison police.
At the June 28 concert, four people were arrested or cited, as well as ejected, and 20 others were ejected, Marc Lovicott, the UW-Madison Police Department's executive director of communications, wrote in an email June 30.
At the June 29 concert, there were nine arrests or citations, as well as ejections, and 12 others were ejected, Lovicott said. One of the nine arrests, he said, was of a person who was arrested a second time and taken to jail after he re-entered the stadium following his first arrest.

The Wisconsin Badgers X account had posted at 6:31 p.m. that the concert was being evacuated because of severe weather, with another post at 7:03 p.m. that fans could return to their seats.
But Lovicott said there wasn't an evacuation. Instead, concert-goers were encouraged to take shelter in the stadium concourses. Gates were shut down, but no one was forced to leave their seats or the stadium.
The decision to shut gates and encourage fans to shelter in the concourses was made jointly among the UW-Madison Police Department, the UW-Madison Athletic Department and the concert organizers.
