"So sad to hear the news of@malcolmjamalwar’s passing," the 49-year-old wrote. "Our paths crossed a few times and he was always so kind, and so sweet. He will be very missed."

"He was sitcom royalty," she added.

"Oh no...!! He was such a sweetheart, and such a talent! 🙏🕊," another Nick at Nite alum, The Wonder Years' Danica McKellar, wrote in response.
