This Call of Duty Game Is Giving Away Double COD Points for a Limited Time

RonaldGames2025-07-021190

Call of Duty fans will have the chance to earn double the amount of COD Points in Call of Duty Mobile from July 2 until August 10, as Activision announces a brand-new Double COD Points event. Any Call of Duty Mobile player who purchases select COD Points from the in-game store during the event will receive double the number of Points purchased. The in-game currency can then be spent on a variety of different cosmetic items or seasonal Battle Passes.

While Call of Duty Mobile remains a hugely popular option for those looking to get their first-person shooter fix on the go, the same sadly cannot be said for Call of Duty: Warzone's mobile counterpart, Warzone Mobile. After finally launching for iOS and Android devices in March 2024, Warzone Mobile was aiming to be another popular mobile version of the iconic series. However, after just 14 months on the market, Activision announced it would be discontinuing support for Warzone Mobile. The game won't be receiving any new content updates in the future, and anyone who hasn't already downloaded and installed the shooter on their mobile devices will no longer be able to play. But those who do have Warzone Mobile installed can still jump into online matches for the foreseeable future.

Thankfully, Call of Duty Mobile remains a popular choice for mobile gamers, and Activision is giving fans even more of a reason to jump into the shooter this month as it has now revealed a brand-new Double COD Points event. The event will take place between July 2 and August 10. During this time, players who purchase select COD Points will be granted double the amount. Unfortunately, as Call of Duty Mobile is a separate entity to the likes of Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, COD Points cannot be transferred between titles. So, for any fans thinking of purchasing COD Points in Call of Duty Mobile to then use in one of the franchise's mainline titles, this isn't possible.

The upcoming event will also launch alongside Call of Duty Mobile's Season 6 update, which will see the debut of a highly anticipated Gundam collaboration. The crossover will see brand-new cosmetic items, weapons, and a limited-time 4v4 Team Deathmatch mode. However, unlike the standard Team Deathmatch mode, players will be able to instantly deploy as a Gundam-themed operator, including Ethan (Freedom Gundam), Reaper (Sazabi Gundam), Proton (v Gundamo), and Deathscythe Gundam (EW). Each operator will also have its own unique ability for players to make use of in-game.

As for fans of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, Call of Duty will soon be launching its Season 4 Reloaded update. The mid-season patch will see plenty of new content added to both titles, including the return of Fringe, an iconic Multiplayer map from Black Ops 3, Ranked Play Resurgence in Warzone, plenty of new cosmetic items, and more. Players will also be able to jump into a brand-new CODtoons-themed event, with iconic characters such as Beavis and Butthead coming to the game as playable operators.
