The Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Epic ‘The Odyssey’ Has Leaked Online


Although it’s currently and exclusively only showing in theaters, the first trailer for Christopher Nolan’s action epic, The Odyssey, has leaked online.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the teaser played beforeJurassic Park Rebirth during its first screenings Tuesday. Matt Damon’s Odysseus, his son Telemachus (Tom Holland), and an unknown character played by Jon Bernthal flashed across the 70-second clip alongside the voiceover: “Darkness. Zeus’ law smashed to pieces. I’m without a king since my master died. He knew it was an unwinnable war. And then, somehow, he won it.”

You? You have a story? Some say he’s rich. Some say he’s poor. Some said he perished. Some said he’s imprisoned.” The camera then cuts to a man laying across driftwood in the sea.
Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, and Mia Goth are also set to star in the upcoming film. According to outlet, The Odysseyhas a budget of $250 million, making it the most costly movie of Nolan’s career.
The director’s last film was 2023’s blockbuster Oppenheimer, which also debut its trailer only in theaters. The Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt-starring film received multiple awards including the Oscar for Best Picture, Best Director (Nolan), Best Actor (Murphy), and Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.), and was the third-highest-grossing film that year.
