The "Ultra Unlock" event will also come with plenty of perks for players alongside the plethora of special Pokemon appearing. The event will be coupled with Pokemon GO's typical temporary boosts to XP and Stardust for capturing Pokemon, alongside increased chances to find shiny variants of the featured Hisuian Pokemon. Pokemon GO will also introduce multiple featured Pokemon for raids during the events, including even more Hisuian variants of Pokemon like Sneasel and Growlithe. Ultra Unlock will kick off in Pokemon GO on July 8 and is set to run through July 13.
