Funko Fusion Releases Two New DLC Packs

GuillermoGames2025-06-286530

Funko Fusion has unleashed two new DLC packs centered around the upcoming action film Jurassic World Rebirth. While audiences still have some time to wait before getting to see the new dinosaur-filled movie, Funko Fusion players can get ready by diving into some fresh gameplay almost a week ahead of its theatrical release.

A crossover action-adventure game published and developed by 10:10 Games, Funko Fusion was released in September 2024, bringing players a unified experience in which they can combine popular franchises in a mashed-up set of worlds, all depicted in the Funko brand's minimalist artistic style. The multi-franchise nature of the game means players can experiment with wacky combos, like letting Scott Pilgrim battle alongside Masters of the Universe characters or dropping KFC mascot Colonel Sanders into the quirky British comedy world of Hot Fuzz.

While Funko Fusion may not have been a perfect game, the concept alone really deserves to live on in some fashion, and hopefully it does.

Almost a week ahead of Jurassic World Rebirth's US theatrical release, which is scheduled for July 2, Funko Fusion's character list is expanding with the addition of two human and two dinosaur characters from the upcoming film. The DLC has been released in two separate packs, which are available now, with the first including covert operative Zora Bennett and the Spinosaurus, and the second giving players access to paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis and the franchise's famous blue-marked Raptor. The packs are available for $4.99 each or as a bundle for just under $9, but players on Steam can take advantage of a special 10 percent discount if they pick up any of the offers on or before July 3.

Funko Fusion Introduces More Jurassic World Content

The release of these DLC packs marks the second time that Funko Fusion has introduced content for fans of the Jurassic World franchise. The game launched with 60 playable characters spread across 23 franchises, but Jurassic World took up a large portion of the initial roster, with Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Barry Sembebe, Kayla, and the Dilophosaurus all included at launch. The seven initial main worlds in Funko Fusion also include a Jurassic World entry, and players are able to unlock John Hammond from Jurassic Park by collecting a piece of amber from every level.

Prior to this recent launch, Funko Fusion had released a dozen paid DLC packs, along with a handful of free downloadable characters, including Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park. The most recent addition to the paid roster lineup before Jurassic World Rebirth came in early March with the introduction of Funko Fusion's Wicked DLC Pack 3, which included new costumes for Elphaba and Glinda and introduced the charming Fiyero to the game.
