The Haim sisters, Este, Danielle, and Alana, have always been known for their unapologetic and unpretentious approach to music. With their latest album, "I quit," the trio continues to defy genre expectations and audience perceptions while maintaining their signature laid-back, sun-dazed cool. Released on June 15th, 2025, the 15-track album is a breakup album that captures women at their most emotional, conflicted, and self-indulgent.

The album's title, "I quit," is a declaration of self-assuredness that comes from making mistakes and learning from them. As Alana told GQ in its July cover story, "We never wanted [the title] to be a negative. When we say 'I quit,' it's like, 'I quit the things that don't serve me.' And it's really amazing, because quitting is a new beginning."

The album's artwork and music videos continue the Haim sisters' tradition of recreating iconic paparazzi photos from the '90s and '00s. The "All over me" cover art features Danielle and Will Poulter in a recreation of a paparazzi photo taken of Gwyneth Paltrow and then-boyfriend Brad Pitt in 1995. The accompanying music video sees the Haim sisters and their men lusting after each other, with Poulter playing Danielle's leading man.

The band also tapped Saltburn actor Archie Madekwe and Station Eleven actor Nabhaan Rizwan as love interests for Este and Alana in the three-minute clip. Fans were first given a taste of the "I quit" era in March 2025 with the release of the breezy, post-breakup single "Relationships," which was accompanied by a music video featuring Drew Starkey as Danielle's love interest.

The artwork for Haim's next three singles were also re-creations of niche paparazzi photos from the '00s, including Kate Moss soaking up the sun against an SUV in 2000 ("Everybody's trying to figure me out"), a PDA-fueled moment between Jared Leto and Scarlett Johansson in 2004
