The lawsuit also names Fat Joe’s longtime associates Pete “Pistol Pete” Torres and Richard “Rich Player” Jospitre as defendants. It also targets Roc Nation, the entertainment company run by Jay-Z, which represents Fat Joe. According to Dixon, Roc Nation played a role in helping hide and manipulate his creative contributions. Fat Joe’s legal team has strongly denied all the allegations, with his attorney Joe Tacopina calling the suit an act of retaliation.
