WWE 2K25 has released the second of five planned DLC packs for this year's entry in the wrestling game franchise, the Dunk & Destruction Pack. This pack brings three NBA guest stars to the virtual ring, allowing players to take on the role of four-time NBA champion Shaquille O'Neal and two popular point guards, Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks and Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers. The launch of the Dunk & Destruction Pack follows the release of WWE 2K25's New Wave Pack DLC in May, which introduced SmackDown superstar Giulia and the tag team of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, the Motor City Machine Guns. However, the biggest draw of the New Wave Pack has been Stephanie Vaquer, who has become one of the fastest-rising stars on the main roster. The Dunk & Destruction Pack introduces five new playable characters to WWE 2K25, including the three NBA stars and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali and retired two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion Abyss, who currently works for WWE as a producer. The DLC can be purchased for $9.99, but players who have purchased the Season Pass, which is included in the game's Bloodline and Deadman Editions, can download it now for no additional cost. In addition to the new playable characters, players who download the Dunk & Destruction Pack will receive WWE 2K25 MyFaction cards for playing as each of the new characters in the team management-based game mode. Bloodline Edition buyers can also now access both day and night versions of the WrestleMania 41 arena, and all players can now access the Season 3 content in The Island game mode and play in the new Crown Jewel arena. The remaining DLC packs for WWE 2K25 are scheduled to release throughout the rest of the year. The Fearless Pack is due out on July 23, followed by the Attitude Era Superstars Pack on September 17 and the Saturday Night's Main Event Pack on November 12. However, players are still awaiting the release of the fifth wrestler promised in May's New Wave Pack. The "special celebrity guest" who was supposed to have been added to the game's roster on May 14 is still missing and hasn't even been announced yet. The game's social media channels had promised that the character would be revealed "in the coming weeks," but those weeks now number six, with no updates just yet. Overall, the Dunk & Destruction Pack adds some exciting new characters to WWE 2K25 and provides additional bonuses for players who download it. With three more DLC packs still to come, there's plenty more to look forward to in this year's entry in the wrestling game franchise.
