Hollywood legends Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt recently made a thrilling return to the red carpet at the London premiere of F1, a highly anticipated film that has been years in the making. The 62-year-old Cruise, who last starred in the blockbuster Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which has made $540.8 million worldwide, attended the event to support his fellow actor and friend.

Cruise arrived at the premiere in a sleek dark gray suit, black formal shoes, and black aviator sunglasses, while Pitt, who recently got a buzz cut, sported a vibrant green double-breasted suit, dark brown shoes, and orange sunglasses. The two actors greeted each other with a warm embrace and posed for pictures at the red carpet event, reminiscing about their past collaborations.

Cruise and Pitt last worked together on 1994’s Interview with the Vampire, and the Top Gun: Maverick icon shared a fond memory of racing go-karts with the Bullet Train actor. “When we were doing Interview with the Vampire, we’d go and race go-karts,” Cruise said. “We’d literally finish and go drive go karts all night.”

Pitt recently discussed a potential future collaboration with Cruise in an interview with E! News, stating that he would only co-star with the Jerry Maguire actor in another movie if it was set “on the ground.” The Academy Award winner explained, “I’m not gonna hang my ass off airplane [and] s–t like that. So, when he does something again that’s on the ground.”

F1 races into theaters across the United States on June 27, 2025. The film is directed by F1 racing driver Lewis Hamilton and stars Pitt as a former Formula One driver who returns to the sport after a long absence. The film also features a cameo by Cruise as a racing legend, adding to the excitement of the event.

In addition to supporting his fellow actor’s new movie, Cruise is known for supporting projects that do not personally involve him, as he is a big supporter of the theatrical movie experience. He has previously supported Michael B. Jordan’s film Sinners when it first premiered in theaters.

The reunion of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt at the F1 premiere is a thrilling moment for fans of both actors and a testament to their long-lasting friendship. With F1 set to hit the big screen, fans can look forward to seeing these two Hollywood legends onscreen together once again.
