In July 2025, Xbox fans have plenty to look forward to with the release of a steady stream of new games on the platform. The year 2025 has been a busy one for the Xbox brand, with critically-acclaimed new game releases and huge announcements like the Xbox-branded ROG Ally and the confirmation of a partnership with AMD on its next-gen console. Most of the year's biggest and highest-reviewed new video game releases have been released for Xbox, with Series X/S owners able to enjoy titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Blue Prince, along with Xbox Game Studios releases like South of Midnight and Avowed. And there are still many more Xbox games on deck for 2025, with plenty coming in July 2025. While not a comprehensive list of every single new Xbox game releasing in July 2025, here are 12 higher-profile games for fans to look forward to next month: 2. EA Sports College Football 26 - July 10 3. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 - July 11 4. Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream - July 15 5. Ready or Not (console version) - July 15 6. Shadow Labyrinth - July 18 7. Monument Valley 3 - July 22 8. Wildgate - July 22 9. Killing Floor 3 - July 24 10. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers - July 24 11. Tales of the Shire - July 29 12. Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound - July 31

Out of all the new games releasing in July 2025, a few stand out more than the others. EA Sports College Football 26 is coming after EA's wildly successful return to college football last year, and it will be interesting to see if it lives up to its predecessor. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, meanwhile, will give fans the chance to relive some of the franchise's most iconic parks with vastly improved graphics. Ready or Not's Xbox release on July 15 finally lets tactical shooter fans on console see what all the fuss is about.

Shadow Labyrinth is a gritty Metroidvania re-imagining of arcade classic Pac-Man, while Monument Valley 3 is the third installment in the award-winning puzzle game series. Wildgate is a new PvP shooter game with spaceships, and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a new Soulslike. Tales of the Shire is a long-awaited cozy game based on The Lord of the Rings, and finally, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a spin-off of the long-running action game series that takes it back to its 2D side-scroller roots.

Out of these games, two will be day one Xbox Game Pass Ultimate games, with subscribers able to look forward to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Grounded 2 will also be available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on July 29, with the co-op survival game sequel releasing in Game Preview form that day.
