The news was shared by the publisher, who released a teaser in gratitude for the reception the game had received from players even before its release.

Set in a lifeless territory that was once a powerful empire, Frostrail combines shooter, survival, and open-world elements to create a unique gaming experience. Players take on the role of Penitent Gardeners, traveling aboard an armored train to face off against specters and other eldritch horrors resulting from a pact with the Void. The game is scheduled for release in 2026 in Early Access on PC, with potential ports to consoles in the future.
