Persona 5: The Phantom X has reached another major download milestone, and players are receiving 10 free pulls to celebrate. Although Persona 5: The Phantom X just launched in the West, the gacha RPG has become an instant success across all available platforms.

As a spin-off of the Persona 5 series, Persona 5: The Phantom X is a new story set in a parallel universe. The game was initially launched exclusively in Asian countries in 2024, but it made its Western debut on June 25, 2025. Since the popularity of Persona 5 Royal precedes it, over a million users pre-registered for the gacha title. Mere hours after release, Persona 5: The Phantom X also became a hit on Steam and surpassed P5R's peak player count. Now, the game has shared another important achievement, and the developers are thanking players with some juicy rewards.

Through an official Twitter post, the developers revealed that Persona 5: The Phantom X has surpassed 1.5 million downloads in the West. To commemorate the milestone, all players will receive 1,500 Meta Jewels through their in-game mail. This equates to 10 free pulls in any of Persona 5: The Phantom X​​​​​'s character banners. To claim the rewards, fans simply need to log into the game before Saturday, July 12, at 4:59 AM (UTC). It is worth noting that only users who have started the game by July 11 will be eligible for the free items. The Persona 5: The Phantom X account added that it had reached the #1 spot in the free download rankings on both the App Store and Steam.

Aside from the free Meta Jewels, Persona 5: The Phantom X offers multiple pre-registration rewards for players who have played on day one. These include 20 free pulls on the Standard and Beginner banner, with the latter letting players pull a 5-Star Phantom Thief of their choice between Morgana, Ann, and Ryuji. Other benefits involve free pulls for the Weapon banner, a free 4-Star weapon, and various items. On the other hand, Persona 5: The Phantom X's limited banner currently features the fan-favorite Joker, who is introduced as a 5-Star Curse Sweeper unit.

Persona 5: The Phantom X has already revealed its big plans for the future, as the developers have several updates scheduled every few weeks. Persona 5: The Phantom X Version 1.1 will launch in July 2025 and will add Chapter 2 of the main story in full. Later patches will feature special events and more character debuts. The dev team has confirmed that Version 2.0 will launch Chapter 3 and add Kichijoji as a new location.
