Outlander: Blood of My Blood - A Prequel Series Renewed for Season 2 Ahead of Premiere, Expanding the Fraser Family Saga

The prequel series, set before the events of the original 'Outlander,' will trace the dual love stories of the Fraser family in 18th century Scotland and the Beauchamp family in World War One-era England.

The upcoming series will explore how the parents of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Beauchamp (Caitriona Balfe) met in their respective historical settings, showcasing each couple's blossoming romantic connection amidst their perilous surroundings. The series is scheduled to begin streaming on Starz on August 8, with new episodes arriving weekly thereafter.
