Ondo Finance Launches Global Markets Alliance to Bridge Blockchain and Traditional Finance

In a recent announcement, Ondo Finance has unveiled the Global Markets Alliance, a new industry coalition aimed at expanding on-chain access to capital markets. The alliance is comprised of leading wallets, exchanges, and custodians who will work together to create shared standards and infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).

The founding members of the alliance include the Solana Foundation, Bitget Wallet, Trust Wallet, Rainbow Wallet, Jupiter, BitGo, Fireblocks, 1inch, and Alpaca. The alliance aims to accelerate the adoption of tokenized securities by standardizing technical and compliance frameworks, enabling cross-platform interoperability, and improving access and liquidity for investors globally.

The announcement comes ahead of Ondo Global Markets, a forthcoming platform that will allow non-U.S. users to gain direct on-chain exposure to U.S. public securities such as stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds via integrated applications and wallets.

Key contributions by members of the alliance include:

• Bitget Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Rainbow Wallet will integrate Ondo’s tokenized asset standards to enable secure, self-custodial access to RWAs.
• Jupiter and 1inch will provide programmatic trading and liquidity routing for tokenized assets.
• BitGo and Fireblocks will deliver institutional-grade custody and off-exchange settlement solutions.
• Alpaca will offer brokerage infrastructure specifically for tokenized securities.
