Little Nightmares 3 and Enhanced Edition Release Date Announced: October 10, 2025 for Horror Fans

Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have officially announced that Little Nightmares 3 and the Enhanced Edition of the first series entry will both hit the market on October 10. The announcement was made during the June 24 Little Nightmares Showcase, which also confirmed the release date for the third entry in the atmospheric horror series.

Little Nightmares 3 will be available to pre-order in four different editions across all platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo consoles, and PC. The Standard Edition costs $39.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $59.99. The Collector Mirror Edition and Premium Collector Spiral Edition are available for $89.99 and $119.99 respectively.

One of the most exciting announcements during the showcase was the confirmation of the Enhanced Edition of Little Nightmares. This new and improved version of the game promises technical improvements such as ray tracing and volumetric lighting support, as well as gameplay enhancements like refined checkpoint placement and unspecified helpers. Early access to the Enhanced Edition is available exclusively to those who pre-order Little Nightmares 3 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will also be available on the Switch 2 when it launches.

The upcoming installment in the Little Nightmares series is being developed by Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn. This is the first time that Tarsier Studios, the original developers of the first two games in the series, are not involved in the development process. However, Tarsier never owned the Little Nightmares IP, which belongs to Bandai Namco.

October 2025 is shaping up to be a great month for horror fans, as several other titles such as Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, The Kharzov Effect, Confined: Leaving OKB-134, The Blessing of Airon, Welcome to Doll Town, and Tezcatlipoca are also slated for release in the same time frame.
