The pair, who have been co-stars in the film, were seen pecking each other on the lips as they posed for photos with fans and the media. The British actor, 37, and the Marvel star, 40, were joined by fellow castmates Mahershala Ali and Rupert Friend at the event. Johansson held Bailey’s head in her hands as she smooched him, while Bailey had his arms hovering around her waist. The pair had previously shared a similar kiss at the London premiere on June 17, further fueling speculation about their relationship. However, it’s worth noting that Bailey is openly gay and has been in a long-term relationship with his partner. Johansson, on the other hand, has been married to Colin Jost for four years and the couple even sported coordinating ensembles at the New York premiere. Jost wore a white linen suit, with a white button-down shirt and white sneakers, while Johansson wore an ivory gown with miniature floral appliques and a corseted bodice. Despite the rumors, Bailey spoke about his sexuality and the upcoming film in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, admitting that he has felt the "weight" of co-headlining the movie as an out gay actor. "There’s moments where, yes, you have to be excellent to prove that you can do it," he said. "And it’s not like I haven’t felt that. There’s the weight of history." Jurassic World Rebirth takes place five years after the events of 2022's Jurassic World Dominion and follows Zora (Johansson), a skilled covert operations expert, as she leads a team on a top-secret mission to secure the genetic material of the world's three largest dinosaurs. The film is set to be released in theaters on July 2.
