InZOI Survey Results Reveal Players’ Biggest Issue With the Game

BrookeGames2025-06-283820

InZOI players' most-wanted lists include more customization options, more simulation content, and a refinement of interactions between Zois. A recent study conducted by the development team at Krafton has uncovered some major truths about how players really feel about InZOI, and the development team will likely be using the results as a guiding light moving forward.

Launched in early access in March, InZOI looked to be sparking a revolution in the life simulator genre, surpassing The Sims 4's concurrent player count on Steam within its first 24 hours of availability. At the game's early peak, Krafton was enjoying concurrent player numbers over 87,000, though those numbers quickly fell off, and within a month, InZOI had seemingly lost about 95 percent of its player base.

While InZOI's dwindling player count follows a trend for many games released in early access, Krafton recently launched a fan survey to determine what players like and dislike most about the game, with the goal of setting benchmarks for its improvement. The results of that survey were recently shared by YouTuber Fantayzia, who had been invited to a livestream by the developers and said she was given the go-ahead to share what was revealed there. By far, the most disliked aspect of InZOI is its lack of simulation content, with 42 percent of the more than 700 respondents flagging it as the game's weakest area. Coming in a distant second, with 11 percent of the vote, was the game's "Unnatural relationships, interactions, and emotions," while optimization and specs took third place on the least-liked list with nine percent of the vote.

InZOI Shares What Fans Hate Most About the Game

The data gathered from the survey also yields some interesting results regarding the customization of Zois. Using the same chart as before, the most-liked features of the game are its "Detailed, realistic character customization," which took 43 percent of the vote, and its realistic art style and graphics, which earned 22 percent. However, a second chart reportedly shared during the livestream revealed that players want Krafton to keep building on the Create a Zoi system, with more outfits and accessories being the game's most requested feature, with 209 votes, and more hairstyles and related options coming in second with 165 votes. Other highly ranked requests on that list include more job types and job-related interactions, the need for tutorials, and more freedom in relationships.

Another interesting point relates less to the game itself, and more to the state of the life simulator genre. Going back to the first chart, the third most-enjoyed thing about InZOI is the spirit of competition it has seemingly sparked. Since its announcement, many have expected InZOI to be a competitor to The Sims 4 for its longstanding spot at the top of the life simulator hill, and it seems many fans haven't given up on the idea that increased competition can push the genre to greater heights.
