Oasis recently surprised fans by announcing they would reunite and give fans a chance to see them perform live together again. Now, there is additional news about the band's work, and fans will love it.
According to Billboard on July 2, Oasis is releasing "unplugged" versions of several of their top songs. The first, a new version of "Acquiesce," is now available.

The upcoming release will include five unplugged songs. In addition to "Acquiesce," fans will get new versions of "Wonderwall," "Morning Glory," "Cast No Shadow," and "Champagne Supernova."
The release from Big Brother Recordings is now available for pre-order. It is available in several versions, including a digital option, a 3-album set, and a 2-CD set.
In addition to the new versions of the songs, new sleeve notes and artwork are included in the album and CD sets.

In addition to performing in the U.K., Oasis has concerts scheduled in Ontario, Illinois, New Jersey, and California. Additional concerts will take place in Mexico City, South Korea, Japan, and Australia, as well as Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
According to the band's website, the tour is fully sold out already.
The reunion and anniversary unplugged album comes 16 years after Oasis last toured. Led by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, the band garnered both musical acclaim and negative headlines as the brothers feuded intensely with one another. The infighting eventually led to the band's breakup.
