'I wish I had bought more': personal finance author regrets not buying asset originally appeared on TheStreet.

Prominent financial educator and "Rich Dad Poor Dad" author Robert Kiyosaki took to X on June 30 to make a bold prediction about Bitcoin's future value.

For a long time, Kiyosaki has supported Bitcoin, gold, and silver as alternative investments to hedge against inflation.

“Today Bitcoin is $107,000,” he wrote. “Again my mind says ‘That’s expensive’ but I am buying more.” Looking back on his own entry point, at $6,000 per coin, Kiyosaki conceded that while it felt expensive for him, it would now almost certainly be cheap.

Kiyosaki also suspects that if Bitcoin does end up going to $1 million per coin, a lot of people will kick themselves for not buying today’s prices. Even if all they could afford was a single satoshi — the smallest unit of Bitcoin — he predicted a similar response: “You will be saying, ‘I wish I had bought more.’”

However, the author admits that it is uncertain whether Bitcoin will ever get to $1 million, he expressed that the important mindset change that is needed to comprehend modern money and value over the long term is.

He said, “Will Bitcoin hit $ 1 million a coin? I do not know. What I do know is….I will be saying, “I will wish I had bought more at $107,000. At a $107,000 Bitcoin was priceless.”

Kiyosaki, on June 23, called silver the best investment opportunity currently, and he's not adding anymore Bitcoin to his portfolio until prices come down.

Earlier also, Kiyosaki has batted for metals and Bitcoin, "FYI: Silver is the best investment today…. June 2025. Gold and Bitcoin are high and I am waiting for gold and Bitcoin to crash before I add to my position." He ended with his usual disclaimer: That’s what I think. Do your own research. Take care.”
