With the removal of these rewards, Bungie did confirm that it has also rebalanced rewards throughout the game thanks to a new approach, something which the post chose not to delve into at this point. Alongside the new rewards tease, the post also confirmed that each of the vendors would be seeing changes to their inventory as well, helping to better focus on what they offer.

For the core three of Ada-1, Banshee-44, and the Cryptarch Rahool, each vendor will be more focused with what they offer players. For example, Banshee-44 no longer has Gunsmith Reputation to farm or engrams to sell and instead will only offer legacy weapons for 15,000 glimmer and 3 enhancement cores each. Rahool will continue to let Destiny 2 players focus exotic armor, though only from past expansions, while new exotic armor from The Edge of Fate will be available solely through finishing the legendary campaign. Finally, Ada-1 will be taking Xur's stock of legendary armor in addition to the usual Threader Bounties and a newly overhauled Transmog Bounty system.
