Dave the Diver's In the Jungle DLC has been delayed and will no longer release in 2025, Mintrocket has announced. However, the Nexon-owned company has also shared some good news for Dave the Diver fans regarding the game's past and current DLC packs.
Dave the Diver was released to critical acclaim on PC in June 2023 before making its way to the Switch and the latest two PlayStation console generations in October of the same year and April 2024, respectively. Since then, the renowned genre hybrid has received several DLC packs, some of which were of the limited-time variety. This group includes the Godzilla Content Pack, which originally launched in May 2024 before being pulled seven months later. At the time, Mintrocket said that the add-on wouldn't be returning to any storefront ever again.

The original announcement of Dave the Diver's In the Jungle DLC saw Mintrocket commit to a late 2025 release window. That timeline has now been moved up to early 2026, so the delay is unlikely to shift the overall launch by more than a few months. Unlike many similar postponements, this one isn’t due to technical issues or other types of setbacks. Instead, Mintrocket says it still has too many "cool ideas" that it wants to implement for the DLC to hit its originally announced release window.

As for the newly re-emerged Godzilla Content Pack, its second stint on digital storefronts is going to be much longer than the first. Mintrocket managed to work out a licensing deal that will keep it available until at least the end of 2026, and possibly even longer than that.
Ichiban's Holiday Content Pack Will Stick Around For Just As Long
Meanwhile, Dave the Diver's Like a Dragon DLC has received an extension; while it was originally planned to be available for only six months following its mid-April 2025 debut, Ichiban's Holiday Content Pack is now guaranteed to stick around for as long as the Godzilla Content Pack, i.e., year-end 2026 or longer.
