Diego Luna Takes Over Jimmy Kimmel Live! During Kimmels Summer Vacation: A Look at the Guests and Other TV News
As Jimmy Kimmel embarks on his annual summer vacation, ABC has enlisted a rebel spy to fill in as host for Jimmy Kimmel Live! The week of Monday, June 23, Diego Luna will take over the show. According to Deadline, the Andor star’s guests will include Adria Arjona, Ariela Barer, David Corenswet, Nicholas Hoult, Dolores Huerta, Heidi Klum, Patton Oswalt, Emma Stone, and Alan Tudyk, as well as musical guests Good Charlotte, Hermanos Gutiérrez, and NEZZA.
In addition to Luna, other guest hosts confirmed to sub in this summer include Anthony Anderson, Nicole Byer, Alan Cumming, Chris Distefano, Fortune Feimster, Jelly Roll, and Kumail Nanjiani.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c.
Other recent casting news includes Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights, Nashville) who is set to recur in HBO’s untitled Steve Carell comedy. The gig reunites Britton with series co-creator Bill Lawrence, who previously co-created ABC’s Spin City (on which Britton co-starred as Winston administration accountant Nikki Faber in Seasons 1-4).
