Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts to Open Luxury Resort in Abu Dhabi in 2030: A Fusion of Timeless Sophistication and Modern Luxury

Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced a long-term agreement with Eagle Hills for the development of a new luxury resort and private mansions in Abu Dhabi, which is expected to open its doors in 2030. The resort will be situated on a secluded island, accessible via a specially constructed bridge, and will encompass a 60-room resort, including 30 villas and 90 private mansions.

Italian architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel will be responsible for the construction and design, while LAND SRL, also based in Italy, will oversee the landscape design. The resort will feature a main building with various guest rooms, including two Bvlgari Suites and a Bvlgari Penthouse, as well as 30 beachside villas each with a private pool. The Bvlgari Villa, a five-bedroom luxury residence spanning 1,200m² with a 20m pool, will set a new standard in global luxury hospitality.

Bvlgari's signature offerings will include Il Caffè, Bvlgari Dolci boutique, and La Galleria concept store. The 2,000m² Bvlgari Spa will offer a 25m pool, a 1,000m² fitness centre, and an outdoor deck. Dining options will offer various cuisines and are complemented by a Yacht Club, a 40-berth marina, and a city-side Ballroom.

The residential segment will present 90 mansions, with sizes ranging from 1,650m² to 2,500m², including eight estates each with a private beach. Several mansions will feature private docks for boats up to 25m long while others will face the island's inner cove.

Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said: "This project is a tribute to Abu Dhabi's unique cultural identity, blending timeless sophistication with modern luxury. This project will set a new milestone in Haute Hospitality, and I'm particularly happy to develop it with our long-standing retail partner and friend, Mohamed Alabbar, always striving for the highest standards."

In addition to the Abu Dhabi project, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts is preparing to launch the Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Cave Cay in the Bahamas in 2029, with 64 luxury suites, seafront villas, and 48 private mansions on 220 acres.
