The highly anticipated Battlefield 6 has been teased with leaked footage and information, giving fans a glimpse into the game's cinematic and destructive moments from the single-player campaign. Although the game has not been officially revealed, its status as an upcoming title by EA and the developers at Battlefield Studios is well-known.

The Battlefield Labs program, introduced in February 2025, allows players to test out features and content that will be included in Battlefield 6. More players have been joining the program under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), thanks to recent waves of Battlefield Labs invites. However, NDAs haven't stopped some players from leaking information and footage for Battlefield 6 as development continues.

The leaked footage, shared by dataminer temporyal on Twitter, shows a short clip from what appears to be the game's single-player campaign with a cinematic and destructive moment. The footage shows the player escaping from a dam in Tajikistan at the last minute as it collapses, while bomber jets unleash a payload within the vicinity. Although the mission is a work-in-progress, the explosive effects that Battlefield fans can expect are intact.

The leaked footage also reveals that the game will have multiple modes, including the signature multiplayer experience that Battlefield fans have come to know and enjoy for many years. In addition, recent leaks suggest that Battlefield 6 could have a new battle royale mode with similarities to Activision's Call of Duty: Warzone, including supply drops and mission-based rewards. The "Oversight System" feature will allow dead players to take control of drones, turrets, and cameras to help their surviving squad mates.

It should be noted that the leaked footage is not a final representation of the game's campaign, as content can change drastically before the game's launch. The footage does show off the game's destruction elements and scale, and datamines appear to show that there will be missions taking place in the US, Egypt, and Gibraltar as well.

The new Battlefield game is expected to launch within EA's current fiscal year, which runs until March 31, 2026. With the leaked footage and information teasing new gameplay mechanics and animations, fans are eagerly awaiting the official reveal of Battlefield 6 this summer.
