As for preparing for the two different roles, Chlumsky says she approaches comedic and dramatic material "in exactly the same way." "We're just telling stories and it happens to be the writing that makes it funny or not," she explains. "Bride Hard" is now in theaters while the first two episodes of "Smoke" are streaming on Apple TV+.
